1) All details in our information material have been compiled with great care and are produced in good faith. None of the facts stated are false or misleading as far as we know.

2) Please read the following paragraphs carefully. They are the terms of our contract with you. Your signature on the booking form is the acceptance of these conditions by yourself and every member of your party.

3) The running of the site, the supply of water and electricity and other services offered or operated by anyone other than Marnee Holidays, are outside the control and jurisdiction of Marnee Holidays.

4) It is essential for cleanliness and hygiene that you bring, and use, quilt covers, pillow slips, sheets & towels as necessary.

5) Holiday Green restrict the number of persons per plot to six persons.  Only guests whose names appear on the booking form may use the accommodation. Only resident guests may use the Holiday Green amenities and must officially introduce all outsiders at the site office. Residents are responsible for their own and their guests’ behaviour on site and for keeping the site rules, including quiet after 11pm in areas where people may be sleeping.

6) The accommodation deposit is not part of the holiday payment. It is held by the owner of the accommodation and returned to the party leader after the accommodation has been checked, the keys returned and everything has been left absolutely clean and in working order, ready for the next guests. The deposit may be retained in part or whole if a cleaner must be employed or damage made good before the arrival of the next guests. Guests are liable for the cost of any damage or loss to the contents, fixtures, fittings, equipment etc. or to the accommodation during the period of hire. The party leader must inform the owner (or Marnee Holidays if the owner is not available on site) of all faults to the gas, electrical and water services, appliances and equipment as soon as they become apparent.

7) Mobile home owners will always do their best to meet the reasonable requirements of their guests but owing to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, may be forced to make alterations. In such cases owners may make an equitable refund not exceeding the amount paid by the party leader if they are unable to make the accommodation available due to circumstances beyond their control e.g. damage by fire or change of location. Owners reserve the right to cancel the hiring without prior notice. Every effort will be made to fulfill all obligations, but if cancellation becomes unavoidable owners will repay all monies received from the party leader and no more. A contract will only be constituted between owners and the party leader when a completed booking form and full payment have been received and the booking has been confirmed in writing. If a booking cannot be accepted for any reason, payments made by the party leader shall be returned in full.

8) Marnee Holidays act as agents and are not responsible for any accommodation, ferry company, tunnel operators or associated carriers. The owners, ferry company and tunnel operators have no legal responsibility in respect of the text in Marnee Holidays material.

9) Marnee Holidays cannot accept responsibility or liability for any loss or additional expense occasioned by accident, breakdown, weather, war, sickness, civil disturbance, quarantine or any other happening which may interfere with or delay or add to the cost of the services booked or provided.

Neither can Marnee Holidays accept liability for third party claims nor for any damage, loss or injury to the party leader or to any member of his party, their vehicles or personal effects in whatever manner sustained.

10) Marnee Holidays (and the owners) reserve the right to cancel any booking for which full payment has not been received by the date quoted on the receipt for the deposit .  If you cancel your holiday before the final payment date, the deposits are forfeit.  Marnee Holidays, or the owners, will provide you with a letter to make a claim through your insurers. For this reason it is important to take out holiday travel insurance when the initial deposit is made and agreed by the owner.

11) If you cancel after the final payment date and :-

a) You have paid in full, the owner will retain the balance and return the accommodation damage deposit to you. Marnee Holidays or the owner will provide you with a claim letter for your insurers.

b) You have not paid in full, you agree to pay Marnee Holidays or the owner the balance less the accommodation damage deposit. Marnee Holidays will provide you with a claim letter for your insurers.

N.B. In most cases you will be able to claim for your lost holiday as long as you applied for the insurance when paying your deposits.

Ferry and Channel Tunnel payments are not returnable but are mostly reclaimable from your insurers as in the previous paragraph.

12) Personal holiday insurance is compulsory for every member of your party regardless of age. The owners need to have the name of your Insurers and your policy number before your departure date.  Car emergency breakdown insurance is not compulsory but is advisable for peace of mind.

13) Mobile homes are normally available for occupation on or after 15:00 local time, and must be vacated before 10:00 local time to allow time for inspection by our management. In the event of the home not being vacated on time, the damage deposit may be retained by Marnee Holidays or the owners to meet any additional charges made by the mobile home owners or management. In the event that different times to those quoted above have been agreed in writing by Marnee Holidays or the owners, these will supersede those mentioned above in this respect.

14) Prices were calculated in advance of the season and are based on prices and VAT rates at that time. In the event of subsequent increases in any costs outside the control of Marnee Holidays or the owners, we and the owners reserve the right to make additional charges accordingly. The booking contract which incorporates these conditions is governed by English Law.
